Learning the piano has many proven benefits. Playing music assists in children's neurological development, concentration, imagination, self esteem, organization skills, and is correlated with higher SAT scores and better grades.  Learning an instrument also enriches the lives of adult students. But most of all, learning to play the piano creates beautiful music, and opens the heart to develop the sensitive soul of an artist.
